A referral from the child's pediatrician is needed prior to evaluation. Please contact us to discuss specific referral information or to answer any questions!
Evaluations consist of parent/caregiver interview, medical/developmental history, standardized evaluation and informal observation. Evaluation results will be shared with you at the conclusion of the evaluation session. If skilled language and speech therapy services are recommended, we will create a plan of care with specific functional goals to address the child's skills.
Direct one-on-one therapy sessions are provided in-office by a licensed speech language pathologist to address the following areas:
-Alternative Augmentative Communication (AAC)
-Articulation & Phonology
-Autism Spectrum Disorders
-Fluency
-Receptive & Expressive Language
-Social Skills
Therapy is child-specific and may incorporate play based, child-led sessions as well as structured teaching.
Parent/Caregiver training is provided to assist with carryover of functional skills.
